Wall Street and all of its major indices have ended the week in the green zone after a significant amount of time. The rise in points seems to have happened throughout the week with a sharp upward trend kicking in from Tuesday. The pattern of points movement also looks very identical for all three indices that we are going to discuss in this blog post.

Let’s go ahead and break down the numbers to get an idea of what has happened with the Dow Jones Industrial Average, Nasdaq Composite, and S&P 500 index in the past week.

Dow Jones Industrial Average:

Dow Jones Industrial Average — Wall Street report for week 49 of 2021

The Dow Jones Industrial Average has ended the week in the green zone at 35,970 points with a truly amazing gain of 1,337 points on a week-over-week basis. The index took off in an upward trend on Monday then shot up to its maximum levels on Tuesday. After that, it was more of a sideways movement for the remaining trading sessions. The bullish trend looks like it will continue in the upcoming week.

Nasdaq Composite:

Nasdaq Composite — Wall Street report for week 49 of 2021

The Nasdaq Composite index has ended the week in the green zone at 15,630 points with a significant gain of more than 500 points on a week-over-week basis. Unlike the Dow Jones index Nasdaq Composite had a normal Monday then things went upside on Tuesday with absolutely no stopping. It was a smooth bullish trend for the rest of the week with possible positive momentum kicking in the upcoming trading sessions too.

S and P 500:

S and P 500 — Wall Street report for week 49 of 2021

The S and P 500 index has also ended the week in the green zone at 4,712 points with a decent gain of nearly 160 points on a week-over-week basis. The index mimicked the movements of the Nasdaq Composite with a slow start on Monday and things going bullish from Tuesday for the remaining trading sessions. Like the other indices discussed in this post S and P 500 also seems to be entering the upcoming week in green.

It was a really good week of market performance for Wall Street in my opinion and I hope it continues to be this way for quite some time to come. With the holiday season coming close the bullish trend should continue for at least the upcoming couple of weeks.

Thank you for reading this, and God Bless Everyone.
