In this blog post, I want to discuss and list out the complete funding information on an interesting startup that is basically trying to empower Non-profit organizations to have a never-before-like rapport with donors. I like this startup because it seems to be doing something very noble and I consider that by helping Non-profit organizations do a better job the world can truly become a better place.

Let’s have a look at the funding details of iDonate but before that here is an official intro about the company.

An official snippet about iDonate: iDonate is a developer of fundraising software created to help nonprofit organizations better connect with donors. Its software solution allows nonprofit organizations to facilitate any type of online gift in a customized donor experience. It provides a simple way for advocates to set up and manage their own campaigns, all within a branded,easy-to-use set of pages that enable users to donate cash and non-cash items for non-profit organizations. End of the snippet.

Now, enough with the intro, let’s get started with the topic of this blog post.

Down below is the complete breakdown of iDonate’s funding details in the order of funding date, amount of money raised, and lead investor information.

  • Date — October 1st, 2014 Venture round with $3.5M raised and there is no information available on investor data.
  • Date — October 3rd, 2018 Series A round with $10M raised from PerformanceEdge Partners as the lead investor.
  • Date — February 11th, 2020 Series B round with $8.7M raised from PerformanceEdge Partners as the lead investor.
  • Date — September 1st, 2020 Debt financing of $5.3M U.S. dollars.
  • Date — December 14th, 2021 Series B round with $15.2M raised from MissionOG as the lead investor.

As you can see, iDonate has raised a total of $42.7 million U.S. dollars from a total of five different funding rounds with the latest one being from MissionOG.

I think that Non-profit organizations going forward will have a very important role to play in making the world a happy place to be for people of all colors, genders, beliefs, and ideologies irrespective of which country they come from or go to.

And, helping such Non-profit organizations to be and do a better job by making use of Technology is, in my honest opinion, a very good and noble thing.

Kudos to iDonate on what they have accomplished up until now and wish them the best for all their future evolution.

Thank you for reading this, and God Bless Everyone.
